Synopsis

In La Barra, a remote and humid town on Colombia's Pacific coast, Cerebro (Brain), the leader of the Afro-descendant natives, faces strong conflicts with El Paisa, a powerful landowner planning to build a hotel on the beach. Daniel, a strange and silent city dweller, arrives one afternoon and remains there for several days, waiting for a boat to take him out of the country. Forced to leave, he will have to take part in the struggle of the people who refuse to disappear with the imminent arrival of progress.
