Social Communicator-Journalist (Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia). Master's Degree Candidate in Cinematic Arts (Concordia University, Montreal, Canada). He was part of the Cinefondation Résidence at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. He has directed the feature films EL VUELCO DEL CANGREJO (FIPRESCI Prize, Berlinale, Forum 2010), LOS HONGOS (Special Jury Prize- Filmmakers of the Present, Locarno 2014), EPIFANÍA (Busan Film Festival, South Korea - 2016) co-directed with Anna Eborn, FAIT VIVIR (Biarritz 2019 -Ficunam 2020), and the short films SOLECITO (Directors´ Fortnight, Cannes 2013) and TIGERS CAN BE SEEN IN THE RAIN (New York Film Festival, Currents 2025). He is currently in the postproduction of his new short film DUERMEVELA, developing and financing his new feature film, POPULAR. Producer of all Contravía Films Projects.

Vega
A social communicator and journalist (Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia), he specialized in film and television scriptwriting (TAI School of Arts and Entertainment, Madrid, Spain). He participated in the Cinefondation Residency at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. His debut feature, LA SIRGA, premiered at the 2012 Cannes Directors' Fortnight and was selected for festivals including Toronto, San Sebastián, and London. He served as assistant director on EL VUELCO DEL CANGREJO, SIEMBRA, and TORMENTERO. He directed the short films SIMIENTE, SANTIAMÉN, and NÁUFRAGOS. His second feature, SAL, was released in 2018. He is currently developing his next feature film, CALOSTRO.






Public Accountant with a specialization in Tax Management and a Master's degree in Accounting (Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia). She has been an auditor of entrepreneurship projects with experience advising companies in the audiovisual field since 2018 at Contravía Films and since 2024 with her brand ContaVisuales, participating as Chief Accountant in drafts of Law 1556 and Law 814 of 2003. She specializes in budgets and legalization of Grants from the FDC, Ibermedia, and international funds. She served as Accountant for Fait Vivir and Turbia, and as Production Manager for Yo Vi Tres Luces Negras.
Communicator with an emphasis on Audiovisual Production (Javeriana University, Cali, Colombia). She has produced more than 20 exhibitions for the Museo La Tertulia, showcasing the most important contemporary Colombian and Latin American artists. She is a researcher and author of the book "The Producer in Colombian Cinema", winner of the National Award for Film Research from the Ministry of Culture. She served as a scriptwriter for the films LA SIRGA and SIEMBRA. She also produced the film SAL and the short films SANTIAMÉN and NÁUFRAGOS, directed by William Vega.
